Snapmad.com is a website that allows users to upload digital photographic images for the purpose of ordering canvas photo prints, photo prints, personalised mugs, and other personalised products. We also sell other non-personalised products.

This document sets out the general terms and conditions of the use of this website, and should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy and our technical information and our delivery information page. 


The products offered for sale on this website may vary from time to time, and the materials used to manufacture the products may also vary. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale.


Prices, delivery charges and payment terms shall be as specified on this website at the time of ordering. Delivery charges as stated on our delivery information page. Snapmad.com reserve the right to change the published prices of products and delivery at any time.


The copyright of the software and all content of this website belongs to snapmad.com. No part of this website, snapmad.com, may be reproduced in whole or in part in any manner without the permission of the copyright owner.

Creating an account

It is necessary to create an account with snapmad.com before uploading any images. By creating an account, you are agree to these terms and conditions, and to our privacy policy.


While using our website to upload and store images, and place orders, we do not allow our website to be used for the uploading of the following:

Copyrighted material used without the express permission of the owner.

Material that violates the rights of others.

Material that contains viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other forms of corruptive code, or any other content that may compromise the snapmad service.

Material that advocates illegal activity.

Content we believe is abusive, deceptive, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, slanderous, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Material that, in any way, is harmful to minors.

Material that provides a link to any of the above.

Snapmad.com has the sole discretion to determine whether content is prohibited, and any content submitted to the website may be subject to examination from time to time. Although we do not and will not examine or otherwise review all content submitted or transmitted to the website, we may delete, move, and edit content for any justified reason, at any time, without notice.

Uploaded content

You are solely responsible for the content of the uploaded image data.

You are solely responsible for any violation of any third party copyrights, trademarks or other rights that you may incur as a result of your image data and indemnify us from any legal actions taken by others.

We are entitled but not obliged to check the appropriateness of the content you upload. We reserve the right to delete without further notice any of your content or order in whole or in part that violates applicable law or the terms set out under the these terms and conditions. Illegal content may be reported to law-enforcement bodies.

You shall bear full sole responsibility for any form of legal proceedings that may be incurred as a result of the images you upload and you shall be liable for any resulting damages. You will indemnify and hold harmless snapmad.com from and against all losses, claims, liabilities, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, resulting from any violation of these terms by you.


Uploading images to snapmad.com is free of charge. Images you upload to this website will be stored for your future use, however they will be automatically removed if not required after a period of inactivity. We cannot guarantee the storage of any images you upload to the site. Please ensure that you maintain copies of your images. You may remove all the images you have previously uploaded on this page and clicking the remove my images button.

From time to time, our website will be updated with new features, and some features may be removed.

We may change this document from time to time. Please check this page for updates. If we make changes the date of the change will be updated at the bottom of this page.

Terms of purchase

When a user confirms and places an order at the end of the checkout process on our website, a contract is created between you and us for the purchase of that product.

We will take payment for your order by means of your nominated payment method and send a confirmation email detailing your order and other relevant information.

When your order is being shipped, you will receive a dispatch email.

An order may be rejected if, for example, we cannot obtain payment authorisation, if the order breaches our terms or the use of images that are corrupted, unsupported technically or inadequate, or if a relevant pricing or product description error is identified or the product is unavailable.

If an order is rejected, Snapmad will contact you and reverse any payment made within 30 days. We are not obliged to offer any compensation in the case of order rejection.

Ordered products will be manufactured, packaged and shipped upon receipt of the order. The time it takes for this process can vary at peak times. Any time estimates given cannot be guaranteed.


We create posts on Facebook and Instagram, and sometimes it's really useful to have 'real life' images to use for this purpose as it demonstrates the wide array of styles and products we create.

If you would like us to consider your order and pictures for inclusion in our online marketing material, then please tick the 'allow' box at the checkout.


Payment for an order can be made by debit or credit card, or Paypal. If there is sufficient credit on your account, then an order can be placed by these funds.


There is no right to withdraw from an order as all goods and services on our website are made to your specification. However, please contact us if you wish to cancel your order - if it is not yet manufactured we will do our best to cancel it for you. If goods or services are faulty, the terms under Defects apply.


Delivery information can be found on our delivery information page. In the case of non delivery please note that some of our dispatches will not fit through a standard letter box. Therefore it is possible that Royal Mail could be holding your item, awaiting collection or re-delivery.  If you use our site to place orders which are to be sent directly to your customers, then we cannot be held responsible when your customer claims non-delivery.  It is your responsibility as the customer to ensure that the correct delivery address is entered at the time of ordering. In the case of a missing item, you may need to send verification of your address to us. Although our deliveries are normally very fast (often next day!) we have to allow 28 days for UK deliveries, and 30 days for other destinations before considering a package to be lost.

We understand that Royal Mail are experiencing extremely high volumes of parcel mail at this time and as such there are significant delays to services across the country. Please allow extra time for delivery. 


We retain title of the delivered goods until the order total is paid in full and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Risk of loss and damages pass to you upon delivery.


Your acceptance of the products occurs upon delivery of the products and will be presumed unless you notify us of defects as soon as reasonably possible but in any case no later than within 28 days after the delivery.

Please specify the order number when reporting defects.

Things that are not considered to be defects:

We're happy to discuss any aspect of the service we provide, but only avoidable technical inadequacies is considered a defect, and this does not include aspects of personal taste. Differences in colour between the images and the original image data are not a defect. There is no defect if reduced quality is due to the poor quality (for example, low resolution) of the original image data.

All sizes mentioned in the site are approximate and some very minor deviations can be expected as the products are created on an individual basis. When ordering borders on photo prints, due to tolerances in paper handling by the machinery, there can be a very small deviation in border sizes.

When ordering the PCC (Pro Colour Correction) service, it must be noted that where a image already has a large colour and density adjustment applied to it (such as instagram style filters) then we may not make any adjustments to the image owing to the fact that you uploaded it with such a filter in the first place and we assume this is the look required.  Colour of any given image is a subjective thing and personal taste does come into play. What we aim for with PCC is to give you a balanced set of images that will look good in most environments. If you know your stuff, and can use the histogram in photoshop, then you should have no reason to use PCC.
